Kevin Abbott's first of five Roseanne scripts has Roseanne finding pot in David's basement bedroom. He lies and claims it's his, but only because he thinks it's Darlene's. (Darlene appears in a phone conversation and does a good imitation of her mother.) It turns out it's Roseanne's pot, abandoned when she was pregnant with Becky and planned to stop. Dan, Roseanne, and Jackie end up smoking the stash but don't enjoy it. It's ironic that Jackie speaks of being all alone, without a husband, boyfriend, or children, when that's shortly going to change. Note that Dan is now 42.
