Shearer's offbeat way to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Nixon resignation is to analyze tapes of the soon-to-be ex-President from shortly before his resignation speech.  The second half, where Shearer's old colleagues Lander and McKean (yes, Squiggy and Lenny), appear on an infomercial, with Shearer as "Rich" Nixon, is better.

This Mitchell & Neigher story is about Bob running for the school board at Emily's urging, although he does seem disappointed when he loses.

Quinn K. Redeker played Buzzy Cavanaugh on That Girl and he's Dr. Dalton here.  Twenty-nine-year-old George Wyner makes his first of two appearances as Rex Pottinger, while Lillian Garrett does her first of two as Rita Montez.  David L. Lander is uncredited but the voiceover for a man named Milt sounds suspiciously like Milt the Delivery Boy.

Mitchell and Neigher's second BNS story has Bob going to a convention in Hawaii after being published in a psychology anthology.  However, only two pages of twenty in his article made the final cut, so he doesn't particularly want to go.  And Emily becomes a lot more hesitant about flying when Howard sounds like he's going to spend more time doting on Ellen than navigating the plane.  And Ellen and Howard have a fight, so she doesn't go.  It's of course up to Bob to resolve everything.

Bobby Ramsen makes his first of six BNS appearances, as Dr. Rimmer.  And a pre-Laverne & Shirley David L. Lander shows up as Milt the Delivery Boy.
