As a boy grows up in the '50s and '60s, he sees nuclear testing, gets seduced as a poolboy, and drops acid with a partially nude go-go dancer.  I think.  As usual with Petty videos, little of this makes sense or has much to do with the song.  Except I guess "flying" is, well, you know, wink wink nudge nudge.

Simple but satisfying video for possibly the best song of this '80s version of a power group, with the touching if corny touch of representing the recently deceased Roy Orbison by a photo and an empty but still rocking chair (great visual pun).
