Crosby, Still, & Nash perform in San Francisco, songs new and old, to an enthusiastic crowd.  There are some great moments (like the heartbreaking "Just Before I Go") and some lesser moments (some of the solo stuff), but overall this is solid.  This was more than two decades into their collaboration, and they're still together more than two decades after that.  (They'd have another acoustic concert in '04, but I've never seen it.)

Host Dennis Wholey comes across as not too bright, but Goodman is good as always. And, oh, the feels when she says she doesn't know if a woman will be elected in her lifetime.  (She recently turned 76 and is still writing.)

By this point, Jeffrey Lyons and Michael Medved had been on Siskel and Ebert's old public television show for about four years.  But Medved was still best known for his Golden Turkey books, which he understandably references here, as he and Lyons look at embarrassing roles from the '40s to the 80s.  Most of the clips aren't that funny, nor are the reviewers' remarks.  Travolta is tagged for Moment by Moment, Stallone for Rhinestone.

Mark Russell Looks at Campaign '76

A retrospective on the specials of Russell's first election year, with a 1988 introduction by Russell.  The TV reception was bad that night, so the videotape fades in and out, but what remains isn't that funny.  There's some irony, from the vantage point of  '17 even more than '88, about hearing names like Reagan and Dole, Carter and Mondale, but "Mo" Udall is no longer much of a name-check.

Thanks to http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Everybody's_Song, I now know more about this clip than just that it's one of the earliest and weirdest things the then-future-ex-husband and I taped with the Veece in '87.  Bip Bippadotta (a scatting hippie) and the Androoze Sisters (pigs in wigs) first performed it in '79 and then it made its way onto TV a few years later.
