This second of two stories by Sydney Zelinka is aptly titled for a sweet ending to the season.  Don and Ann wind up sitting the baby of her neighbor Janie Downs (Mary-Robin Redd, who'd appear on M*A*S*H), even though Donald has surprised Ann with theater tickets on her birthday.  (Her birthday was previously in the Fall, but oh well.)  Don and Ann disagree about disciplining a hypothetical three-year-old but the episode does show them as a good parenting team.  And the love letter he leaves her, when he puts her to bed after the baby is picked up, is just wonderful.  Producer Saul Turteltaub directed again.

As for the season, it's right on the border between C+ and B-.  It'll be interesting to see what the final season is like, with the engagement and the no longer instrumental theme song.
