In this Donley & Graham story, the new housekeeper in the neighborhood, Frances (Conchata Ferrell in a fine, vivid performance), finds out that Tony is making significantly more than all the other housekeepers. The housekeepers go on strike, and Tony, with nudging from supportive Angela, joins them. Unfortunately, her big dinner party is moved to an earlier date. Unlike some of the Season One episodes, or for that matter some of the Season Eight episodes, the conflict here has Tony and Angela equally right and wrong. They of course resolve things, with help from Mona, and get pretty flirty in the tag.
Lupe Ontiveros, who played Woman in Airport on Soap, is Margarita here. The underutilized character of Joanne Parker (Pamela Galloway) appears for the third and last time. It would've been nice to have both her and Frances back.
