In this Wengrod & Cinnamon story, Tony's old doo-wop group reunites to save Pitkin High from being torn down. Angela encourages Tony to work through their differences, and he wants her to join them onstage, causing more conflict. Considering Tony graduated around 1970, doo-wop seems a bit anachronistic, but maybe things were different in Brooklyn.
Charles Gideon Davis, John Hostetter, and Harvey Shield would return as Jimbo, Satch, and D.J., but the actor playing Benny would be replaced. This is both the 500th show I've reviewed from the '80s and the 1200th sitcom.
