In this Teverbaugh & Va Salle story, Sam moves out to the dorms a month late and Tony has trouble letting go, especially when he bonds with her dorm-mates.  Meanwhile, Angela is still seeing Andy (Doug Ballard), who enjoys cooking for her in Tony's kitchen.  Tony feels lonely, which perhaps leads him to agree to the changes in the next episode.

Jennifer McComb and Ria Pavia would return as Jennifer and Laurie the next season.  Andrea Elson, who's Melinda, had a regular role on ALF as teenage daughter Lynn Tanner.
