This is the only 3'sC story by Deborah Hwang, although her co-writer Gary Belkin also did "Stanley Casanova."  The plot is definitely a farcical misunderstanding, with Mr. Roper mistaking the diary that Chrissy is typing for her own, and him thinking that he's the very attractive but married downstairs neighbor.  But it seems excessive, even for a man who's upset, to want to evict not only Chrissy but her roommates to save his marriage.

Paul Barselou, who would be a nameless man five years later on the show, here turns out to be Wanda X, in a tag that disappeared in syndication.
