It turns out that Woody Kling, a staff writer on HL, wrote this, although he does a good job of mostly keeping the DS characters intact.  (It should be Arnold, not Willis though, who asks when dinner is.)  And Doug Rogers was a regular HL director.  It is notable here that Ruthie (Kim Richards) has a lot more to do than not only Diane and Kimberly but Willis, although Arnold of course holds his own.  The two dads have some nice scenes together, including fighting in a fairly plausible way, and they even sing a little duet at the end.

Joanna Gleason, who plays Larry's producer Morgan Winslow, would appear as Faith Crane on Bosom Buddies.
