In this Shulman & Baskin story, Mr. Roper sells the apartment building, but of course the trio jump to the conclusion that the real-estate lady, Mrs. Dawson (Ruta Lee, who'd very recently guested on Mork & Mindy, here in her first of two 3'sC roles), is his mistress and he's going to leave Mrs. Roper. This marked the end of the Ropers as regulars on 3'sC, since they spun off to their own series. (As did their British prototypes of course.) Note that this is the Roper's 22nd anniversary and they've been in the building for 14 years. And Paul Ainsley returns as Jim the Bartender.
This may feel like a season-closer but there will be a couple May episodes coming up, one of them an old favorite of mine, so I'm curious to see how it measures up on this reviewing.
