In this Harris & Silver episode, Jessica finds out that the table in Chester's hotel room is one of the women he's cheating with, after he denies it and calls her suspicious. To the studio audience's delight, she tells him to not come home. Later, she meets Leslie and has a more polite if awkward conversation. Meanwhile, Burt and Mary go to the doctor, he for insomnia from space lag. Danny tries calling a Peter Dawson (the name of Polly's late husband) from the phone book and then decides to stake out the cemetery in hopes of seeing Polly again. (It's a small town, wouldn't it be easy to run into each other?) Burt disapproves of Danny being interested in a "black widow." And, while Chuck and the baby-adoring Bob are visiting Jodie, a social worker drops by and asks Jodie if he's a practicing homosexual. This prompts the classic response, "I don't have to practice, I'm very good at it," although it could be argued that as far as we know he hasn't really dated men much since Dennis.
Richard McKenzie, who makes his first of four appearances as the Doctor, was Chef Anton on Three's Company, while Karen Austin, who plays Chester's Woman, would have two 3'sC roles. The Major, Corinne, Eunice, and Billy are all absent.
