Danza's real-life friend Bobby Governale, referenced in previous episodes, plays himself in this Perlow & Braunstein story. He becomes Jonathan's accordion teacher and seems to be trying to steal Jonathan's friendship from Tony. There's lots of weird subtext here, from Tony giving Jonathan wrestling lessons, to the accusations of "accordion bigotry," to Tony giving Jonathan joking permission to propose to Sam. And Tony and Angela flirt a bit, but that's less surprising. This is Asaad Kelada's 100th show of mine, a rarer achievement for a director than a performer.
