The name change isn't too dramatic this time, just from the more specific "Sandy's Three Wishes." Alex writes that he's on his way home, via ship, and he wants to go to the beach that weekend, but Kelly tells Sandy that there's too much housework. Meanwhile, Pinky as almost always wants Blinky to come home with her, so she makes a deal that she'll grant three wishes if Sandy agrees to let Blinky go. (Blinky is in the middle but seems to side more with Sandy.) The first wish is that Sandy's homework will be completed, which Pinky does, including wrong answers, since Sandy isn't a straight A student. Then the second wish brings Kelly home from an interview (where she is taking notes with pad and pencil). Sandy doesn't want to use her third wish, but does when a storm threatens the ship her father is on. The writing is a little sharper here, not only with the oneupsmanship that Sandy and Pinky have, but also because this episode contains two of my favorite lines from the series: "Not only is it fair, it's legal" and "Pinky, I've got to admit, you're not only one of the smartest bears I know, you're also one of the nicest."
