Dawn Aldredge's penultimate WtB story was cowritten with her sometime collaborator Marion C. Freeman (for instance, an early What's Happening!! episode and the first Love Boat TV-movie). It's one of their weaker efforts, not satisfactorily tying together the elements of Christmas and the supernatural. Still, it is of interest for the biographical details it gives about Mona and her family.
The episode begins in Heaven, where Laura Rockwell (Christina Pickles, who had recently played a Perfume Counter Saleswoman on Roseanne) may not be able to enter unless she can reconcile Mona and Mona's brother Archie (Gordon Jump, who among many other things, including of course WKRP, appeared with Helmond on Soap as the Chief of Police). Good-souled Tony gets dragged into it. Also, there's the same "Was that really Santa?" twist as on Gilligan's Island almost a quarter century earlier.
