Right before Ellen's parents leave for a tropical cruise in this David Flebotte story, they give her her birthday gifts, including a funeral plot. She becomes seasonally depressed in a different way than most, and her friends have to cheer her up in the graveyard. Ellen's new neighbor Tad (Jamie Kennedy) appears as holiday help at the bookstore, again doing that weird dance.
