The Japanese title is "Sandy's Birthday Surprise," and we see from the calendar in her room that her birthday is on Friday the 10th of some month.  She hopes to get a present from her archaeologist father, but Kelly finds out that Alex is missing.  It turns out that, bearded, he's returned home for a surprise.  This is the first episode to have a scene set in Sandy's school, and we meet her male teacher.  (Like most of the men on the show and a few of the women, he has a huge nose.)  Also, Blinky is revealed to have magic powers, although they seem to be less than Pinky's.
