Karen Hall wrote this story that takes awhile to get going but does in the end take advantage of these characters having known each other so long, not just in the ways that the doctors in the Swamp get on each other's nerves, but also in Klinger, Mulcahy, and Houlihan knowing how to manipulate them for their own good.  Col. Potter trying to paint a group portrait feels odd, like he couldn't sketch them all separately and only have them pose as a group a little while.  Still, it does create another memorable painting, this time to be sent home to Mildred.

John Fujioka (this time as Hawkeye's "landlord"), Jeff Maxwell (Straminsky, telling Hawkeye about the hut for rent), Kellye Nakahara (Yamato), Shari Saba (Nurse Shari), and Marty Thomas (Soldier) return.
