This teleplay by Matt Berry and Ed Yeager (their first of three), based on Cynthia Mort's first of six Roseanne stories, is an improvement over the previous episode, focusing more on the drama of Roseanne's difficult decision, but still with laughs, like about her handing D.J. a milk carton instead of feeding him, twice.  I also like how D.J. grows up some in this episode, and Roseanne recognizes this.  Note that the tag has the Cubs saying 2010 will be their year, but Roseanne's youngest child is 16, although clearly she won't be born in '94 (or indeed turn out to be a girl).  As for the Cubs, their year wouldn't be till 2016.
