Suzanne Martin wrote this story where Ellen dates Dan (William Ragsdale), a seemingly great guy: smart, funny, and very cute (with sideburns and a Richard-Dreyfussy voice). Unfortunately, she can't accept that he's a pizza delivery guy with no real ambitions. I remember being disappointed in her but understanding, since she did recently follow her dream to buy the bookstore. And I remember being pleased when Dan came back, twice.
Christine Romeo plays another uncredited woman, while Noelle Hannibal is an uncredited Customer for the first of eight times. Jerry Penacoli plays Paige's date Richard for the first of two times.
