In this Elias & Pollock story, both Hawkeye and Charles have to resist their impulses, respectively to crack jokes and to tell off the man who transferred Winchester out of Tokyo to the 4077th: Col. Horace Baldwin (Robert Symonds again).  Hawkeye makes it through the day, winning his bet with BJ (who doesn't look too upset), and then cracking jokes on the PA.  Charles loses at cribbage, hears slurs against cognac and Boston, and even hires a prostitute in order to convinve Baldwin to send him back to Tokyo, but when Margaret walks in on Baldwin in leather pajamas and a hood (?!), the colonel tries to put the blame on her.  Charles makes the difficult decision to back up his friend rather than the man who can give him what he most wants.  The confrontation in the Officers' Club is among the implausible moments of the episode, but I found it generally entertaining.

Mae Hi makes her first of two M*A*S*H appearances, as a nameless Korean Woman (presumably the prostitute).  Roy Goldman (this time as the Bartender), Jeff Maxwell (Straminsky), Kellye Nakahara (Yamato), and Eileen Saki (Rosie) return.
