This Mark Tuttle story is somewhat predictable but, unlike M*A*S*H that week, it adds a couple of unexpected twists.  Dean Travers (William Pierson in his last appearance) hires Jack to teach a cooking class at the college.  Janet at the last minute decides to be a student (I guess it's drop-in enrollment), and Travers's attractive niece, Betty Jean, attends, too.  Jack flirts with her but refuses her offer to "earn an A" by throwing herself at him.  Janet walks in on her kissing him and of course thinks Jack started it.  And Betty Jean tells her uncle that Jack insisted she kiss him to pass the class.  It's up to Larry to show that "BJ" isn't as innocent as she seems.  The relative surprises are how the exchange between Larry and Betty Jean plays out (and we learn that Larry is not the great lover he claims to be), and how Cindy has to relay messages between Jack and Janet as they all stand there, another example of how Harrison's tendency to overact can work when put to good use.

This is the 100th John Ritter program I've reviewed.
