Sternin & Fraser wrote this story which ranges from slapstick and beefcake, in the scenes where Tony films a Machismo shower gel commercial, to relatively serious moments towards the end, where Tony and Angela, with some nudging from Mona, realize the importance of honesty and integrity.  Note that Sam's friend Marci is referred to although we haven't yet seen her.  And Mona, as in "Briefless Encounter," is more willing and happy to babysit than she would be in later seasons (even before Jonathan was too old for a sitter).

James Hampton, who plays Herb, would be an Officer later in the season.  I don't have Matthew Laurance in any of my other shows, but I still remember him as one of the leads in the early Fox sitcom Duet.  This is the first of four WtB episodes Linda Day directed.
