This episode covers roughly half of Thank You, Jeeves (reviewed here:  http://rereadingeverybookiown.blogspot.com/2012/05/1934-1989-harper-row-edition-p.html), but wraps things up neatly, only to return to the second (and more racist) part in the following episode.  Note that here Bertie plays a trombone rather than a banjo.  However, the plot of his ex-fiancee getting involved with his friend is central, and Jeeves does indeed temporarily leave Wooster's service.

In the next episode, Dave Atkins, Fred Evans, James Holland, Sharon Holm, Edward Holmes, Fidelis Morgan, Manning Redwood, and Matthew Solon would return as Voules, Brinkley, Dwight, Pauline, Seabury, Myrtle, Stoker, and Chuffy respectively, but don't expect me to repeat this list.
