Michael Borkow's first of five Roseanne episodes is the best of this season so far: hilarious and touching, in more ways than one.  Yes, it's impossible to talk about masturbation without innuendo accidental and deliberate, as Borkow's script demonstrates.  Twelve-year-old D.J. is at that age, and the family has to deal with it when he starts spending hours in the bathroom.  Meanwhile, Darlene comes home for a visit and is reluctant to talk about her success at art school in Chicago, when David has been skipping school for two weeks and isn't doing much with his life.  David ends up telling Dan and Roseanne that he's moving to Michigan to be with his mother, who's going to try to change.  But the tag reveals that David has moved in with Darlene in Chicago.  This would have fallout down the road, but even as a standalone the episode is solid.
