Chronology and consistency really go out the window here, with Roseanne making a video to be played for her daughter who's a few weeks from being born, yes, in an episode that aired almost fifteen months after the episode where Roseanne announced her pregnancy! I suspect it was taped early in the season, especially since Dan still has his early-season-eight beard.
Meanwhile, Dan and David try to make a belated baby book for D.J. (still born in '81); Jackie resents Fred (O'Keefe in his last appearance to air) becoming less boring; Mark cooks dinner for the ungrateful family; and Darlene and Becky find Dan and Roseanne's old love letters. I want to mention that the chemistry between Gilbert and Goranson is as strong as ever this season, and I really wish they'd had a chance to work together more.
