Since I'm missing "The Sweathog Back-to-School Special," this kicks off what will be a very crowded season.  I'm marking the episode down a notch from the British original, because of the "no means maybe" conversation between Janet and Chrissy.  Otherwise, there are some funny moments, like when Janet says that people call her and her "brother Jack" Donny & Marie.  The "shelf" conversation with Jack & Mr. Roper is still good, and it does lead to the Ropers finally having sex.

Paul Ainsley is back as Jim the Bartender.  Jenifer Shaw does a nice job as Veronica and would return five years later as Rita.
