We know that this episode is set sometime between July 19th and August 3rd of the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki.  As the title suggests, Potter wants the 4077th to form two teams and compete, the winning team members each getting three days of R & R.

Mike Henry, who was Frank Nugent on The Bob Newhart Show, plays Lt. Col.  Donald Penobscot on just this episode.  Richard Lee-Sung (this time as a Korean Villager), Kellye Nakahara (Yamato), and Noel Toy (in her last appearance as Mama San) return.  Levine & Isaacs co-wrote.
