Dennis Koenig wrote this story about the effects of a steam generator explosion on two friendships. The more interesting one is the bromance between Hawk & Beej (Potter refers to the latter as Hawkeye's "worse half"), where Pierce is overprotective of injured Hunnicut and then sort of territorial when another doctor, Capt. Norman Traeger (Tim O'Connor, who'd previously played Col. Spiker), is brought in. Meanwhile, in the "Yes, everyone rips off The Brady Bunch" department, Max takes advantage of Charles's gratitude for saving his life.
Gwen Farrell (Able) and Kellye Nakahara (Yamato) return. Margaret and Mulcahy have very little to do this time. This is the only thing directed by Rena Down, who seems to have been mainly a writer for night-time soaps.
