This episode is mainly notable for the flashback showing Mary, Jessica, and Chester the day that Mary found out that Chester would be marrying Jessica, whom he barely knew, because of Mrs. Gatling's blackmail about Mr. Tate's stock fraud.  Burt is sympathetic towards Mary and happy that Danny has a kidney donor, a contrast to Burt's behavior in the following episodes.  Meanwhile, Jodie and Maggie are in a dungeon but happy because they're in love and the sex is great.  Eunice on the other hand is bored with her sex life with Dutch, and I feel zero sympathy for her, especially since she's a bitch in the first scene, where she's annoyed that they'll miss a movie because of Danny's surgery.  (You'd think she might feel some sympathy for him as her half-brother, or be concerned about Chester, but no.)

All the regulars are present this episode except understandably Danny.  This is the 800th ABC program I've reviewed, with many more to come.
