Edward Herrmann guest-stars as a replacement doctor when Potter and Winchester are out with the mumps, and Herrmann gives a nice complex performance, with more going on under the surface than first appears.  Kellye Nakahara returns as Yamato.  Sidney Freedman is referred to but not seen.  Dennis Koenig wrote and Farrell directed.

This is the 1300th program I've reviewed, and of course we've got most of the '80s and beyond ahead of us.
