There are some consent issues going on here, with all the jokes that blur romance and attack, including one I missed on my previous blog about the thin line between rape and enthusiasm. Also, not only would the scenes of Robin in the bathtub and the girls walking in on him never have aired in the U.S. at that time, but they set up Chrissy pressuring Robin into cooking a meal for Chrissy's date by threatening to pour scented bath lotion on him. (He ends up spilling it on himself anyway.) Still, the French Monopoly is fun and it's interesting to see Jewish dietary laws come up in a sitcom context.
