As the kids got older, the possibility of more farcical stories opened up, as with "Cyrano de Brady" and this one. Martin Ragaway's first of three Brady scripts treats Marcia's crush on her dentist innocently, even for the time, but then this is The Brady Bunch. Note that Marcia imagines Bobby and Cindy as her posh children and Alice as a French maid! She herself dresses more like late-series Samantha Stephens rather than like her own mother. Jan has some of the best lines in this, with her role as Marcia's confidante, like "He has a wife, children, maybe even a dog."
