Glazer, Honigblum, and Phillips co-wrote this story which mostly focuses on Angela's new business.  She has a new account, for rice cakes, which were still somewhat of a novelty in America at the time.  She says she's been working on the account for months, so perhaps she had it at Wallace and MacQuade, or at least has been contemplating it for awhile.  When she's supposed to meet the client, Thomas Ping (veteran actor James Hong, who played a nameless man on The Bob Newhart Show and Peking Tom on Soap, but surprisingly never guested on M*A*S*H, unlike most Asian and Asian-American television actors of his time), in San Francisco, Jim Peterson manages to steal the account.  Meanwhile, Tony and Mona decide that the agency should lease a limo for added class.

Note that the Pescher perfume and Guacamunchies accounts are mentioned.  And this time Sam is on the phone to Bonnie, as if the writers were already planning to phase out Marci.  (Nicole Eggert wouldn't join Charles in Charge, the "other male housekeeper show that wasn't Mr. Belvedere," till '87, but it's possible she was already in negotiations.)

African-American actor Joe Morton, who was Capt. Saunders on M*A*S*H and a Manager on What's Happening!!, is listed on IMDB as a Limo Driver, but his role must've been edited out by the time this episode was on Nick at Nite.
