Bruce Howard's last Brady story is one that not only gives Plumb some good scenes as Jan (from telling Marcia "ciao" to the O. Henry twist at the end), but also would, unlike Marcia's braces, have lasting consequences for a character's appearance. (Well, for a season or two anyway.) There is a continuity error, in having Mike and Carol already celebrating their third anniversary, unless we're supposed to believe they got married at Christmastime '68, or this episode is set later than it aired.
Robert Nadder, who plays photographer Gregory Gaylord, would be Alfred Bailey on the next "anniversary" episode. It's Leslie H. Martinson's second of six times directing the series.
