When Alice wants to wear a dress with a transparent top to the lodge ceremony recognizing Harry, he starts to wonder what's happened to this world, with skin used to sell everything.  (We get some PG-rated examples.)  As always, the focus is on Harry and his viewpoint, including reacting to Ralph's continuing grudge against lodge fellow Rappaport, but I want to note a few things about Alice.  Even though she's not only overweight but bespectacled, she's never presented as homely or subject to the associated stereotypes.  Also, she seems to fit on what would later be called the "sex-positive" side of the spectrum of feminism, seeing exposing her body as a form of expression, rather than as exploitation.  I didn't think this episode was as good as the pilot-- the biggest laugh was one of surprise at the mention of Martha Mitchell-- but it is ironic that it so far is the most promising of the four new to '72 series I'm looking at.
