Mr. Roper threatens to raise the rent, so the trio consider getting a fourth roommate. The girls choose a friend of a friend, while Robin picks his girlfriend Linda (Alison Hughes in her last of three appearances, the second as Linda), whom Chrissy and Jo act as if they've never met before. The Rock Hudson reference is as ironic as the ones on Gilligan's Island a decade earlier.
John Carlin makes his last appearance as the Barman.
