This Greenbaum & Fritzell script makes the mistake of having Radar come across as not too bright in his letter to his mother, e.g. thinking that 200 people in the camp equals 20,000 toes.  And I can't say that a camp-wide foot inspection is that thrilling a set-up.

Rollin Moriyama, who shows up in a few of my late '70s movies, makes his first of two M*A*S*H cameos, here as Gen. Park.  John Fukioka does his first of three, as Col. Kim, although he wouldn't return till '82.  Lynn Marie Stewart makes her first of five M*A*S*H appearances, as Nurse Fox.  Byron Chung (this time a Korean Soldier), Gwen Farrell (now Nurse Able), and Kellye Nakahara (Yamato) return.  Alda directed.
