In this Fritzell & Greenbaum story, the 4077th is being bombed by "friendly fire."  Trapper and Margaret get trapped in the supply room and Frank worries that they fooled around.  It's pretty much established by this point that Margaret is attracted to John Xavier McIntyre, but I think she'd be unlikely to give up the married man she's with and used to for a married man who's gotten on her nerves so much.  Frank panics and proposes marriage to Margaret, partly out of jealousy but also out of fear of the bombs.
