The writing is a little sharper here, especially the ridiculous lengths they go to to show the hero worship of HKP, as when the guys paving the street are honored to have him ruin their day's work, or when a menacing alligator asks for his autograph in the swamp. In the first adventure, Rosemary sounds like she has a crush when she says that HKP is the idol of "every red-blooded American girl," but then later a bellhop says HKP is the idol of "every red-blooded American bellhop."
