The first adventure is the better one, with the title character controlling appliances, including ones you don't see so much these days, like jukeboxes and hair salon dryers.  "No, floor-waxer, I'm your master!"  The second one could've done with more satire, beyond the punning name of Don Knutts, but I can understand that they wouldn't want to insult actual "third-rate comics," and the "stolen the stoles" pun, as well as the society matron and her butler Chives, made me smile.
