In this Bloodworth & Place script, Hawkeye and Trapper apply the therapy method of an unseen Sidney Freedman on Corporal Richard Travis (Michael O'Keefe, who'd play Tom later), who's paralyzed for psychological reasons.  His cure seems a bit fast, even for a half hour program.  Meanwhile, Radar is bitten by a stray dog, leading to a nice, humanizing scene for Margaret as she reads aloud his letter from a pen pal.

Shizuko Hoshi, who was on The Bob Newhart Show twice, makes her first of four M*A*S*H cameos, as Rosie.  Arthur Song plays a Korean Man, as he would on the show's finale.  Roy Goldman (as Roy Goldman), Jeff Maxwell (Straminsky), Bobbie Mitchell (Baker), and Kellye Nakahara (Yamato) return.  Anachronism notes: not only is there another reference to Godzilla, but some of the songs didn't come out till '56.  Rose could however be reporting on the Tony Curtis/ Janet Leigh marriage of June 1951.
