This Gelbart and Marks story, the first of 31 directed by Alda, has the characters receiving post and packages from back home. Henry seems very surprised that his wife Lorraine wants him to balance her checkbook, even though this came up on a previous episode. At least they're consistent about Trapper's family, since his daughters are still named Becky and Kathy, as in the episode "Kim." He misses them so much that he considers desertion, although Hawkeye manages to stop him. Meanwhile, Hawkeye and Trapper trick Frank into getting excited about a nonexistent stock, which leads Margaret to think he can afford to divorce his wife, although Frank would prefer to have Hot Lips as a kept woman back home. Oh, and Hawkeye is supposed to be 6'2" but he looks more than an inch shorter than Trapper, who's previously been mentioned as 6'3". (Alda and Rogers are those heights though.)
Sheila Lauritsen (Nurse Sheila) and Kellye Nakahara (Yamato) both return but are uncredited.
