I like Helaine Lembeck, but this Eric Cohen story would be better if we got some sense of what draws Vinnie and Judy together, as well as how they make up. His friends disapprove of his new friendship (maybe platonic, maybe not) because Judy is TV Fat. Having Kotter join in on the "ranking" (insults) doesn't really help.
