Allan Melvin makes his last appearance as Sam, whom Bobby and Oliver suspect of being a double agent.  I suppose this episode could've had Bobby and Cindy suspecting him, but Cindy and the other Brady ladies think that Sam is going to propose to Alice.  Here in the fifth season, Cindy is still noted for tattling and snooping, although she says, "I'm older now," and thinks she can be trusted with a secret.  As for Sam, we find out he was in the Army.  (Melvin was a regular on The Phil Silvers Show, so it feels plausible.)

Don Fenwick, who plays Fred Sanders, recently was a young doctor on The Bob Newhart Show.
